Gary G. Durante, Ph.D.

Dr. Durante has over 30 years experience with issues dealing with leadership, management and ethics in both the military, government and private sector. This experience has involved training and education at the various levels in organizations.

Dr. Durante has proven himself as a leader and manager and has an outstanding record of successful positions of increasing responsibility managing diverse, goal oriented organizations from small teams to commanding a large industrial complex. He has exceptional abilities as a skilled communicator, educator and trainer. Dr. Durante has served as adjunct faculty member at The Citadel leading course instruction to both undergraduate and graduate students in Business Ethics. Additionally, he has served as senior adjunct faculty at Strayer University leading course instruction to both graduate and undergraduate students. He was the lead professor for classes in Business Ethics and Strategic Communications.

Dr. Gary Durante is currently the Director of Communications and Enterprise Engineering Programs in Charleston, SC at Scientific Research Corporation. Dr. Durante is a DAIWA certified Level III Program Manager. Dr. Durante’s experience includes serving as the Executive Officer, NISE East Charleston, commanding a SPAWAR In-service Engineering Field Activity, Technical Director for Navy SATCOM (PMW-176), Program Manager for Advanced Automated Tactical Communications (PMW-179) and Program Manager for the Joint Command & Control Mission Package, an ACAT I program with a budget of $1.1 billion.

Dr Gary Durante currently holds the rank of Rear Admiral and serves as the Commander, South Carolina Naval Militia. Gary resides in Mt Pleasant, SC with his wife Pamela and daughter Elizabeth. He is an avid golfer and runner.
